C-Suite As a Service – A New Model
A businessman/inventor — I’ll call him Ray — recently approached me on LinkedIn, out of the blue, with an idea. A great idea. He had serious domain expertise from decades of operating experience and knew his space cold. He even had some IP in the form of patents. But, Ray didn’t have experienced startup entrepreneurs to support him and bring his idea to fruition, much less a cohesive team. He had been stymied for a long time by the seemingly insurmountable barrier of staffing his C-Suite.

Enter Advantary. Ray found Advantary and saw our team and our track records. And the epiphany hit him like a hammer. He saw the way to finally realize his dream of revolutionizing a major industry.

He found an on-demand, experienced, and collaborative CxO team, allowing him to spin up — and down — executive resources as needed, paying for only what he uses. In other words, Advantary could provide a fully staffed C-Suite as a Service.

Now, only a month later, Ray has engaged Advantary — CEO, COO, CFO, CSO, CTO, CMO, CRO, with all of our team’s resources, experience, and contacts – in a long-term and very collaborative engagement to get his new company through ideation, strategy, fundraising, operations, engineering, finance, development, marketing, sales, and business development. And as the company grows and succeeds, we will transition out in a phased approach to bring in the permanent management team who are an ideal fit for his needs.

A Perfect Solution

It’s a perfect solution — an entrepreneur’s vision plus a successful team of entrepreneurs who have seen it, done it, and made it happen. A team who have known each other for decades, have worked together at multiple startups, and who can read each other’s minds and finish each other’s sentences. A team that an investor dreams of having, because investors invest in teams first, ideas second.

By leveraging our experience and success, Ray:

  • increases the speed and improves the terms of financing
  • minimizes the time spent recruiting and managing a newly-formed team
  • minimizes the time to market
  • maximizes the chances of success

And at a clear advantage in cost/benefit.

Boom. Ray is seriously excited. And so are we to have the privilege of working with and generating real wealth and success for him.

This is prima facie evidence of a disruptive new model for thousands of entrepreneurs, many of whom have similarly great ideas but who lack startup experience or the breadth of skills or contacts to create a winning team and company.

We see a bright future with many opportunities to provide a C-Suite as a service to help those entrepreneurs soar. Do you have an idea that’s ready to soar? Drop me a message, I’d love to hear about it.
