Hartmut Junghahn is an international, multi-dimensional business consultant executive expert with a broad and diverse 35+ years of experience. Equipped with a notable blend of knowledge and understanding of high profile commercial and strategic acumen gained through extensive sales, marketing, distribution, supply chain, and general management assignments. He has worked at British global premium-branded drinks multinational company Diageo, American consumer goods corporation Spectrum Brands, industrial conglomerate Swedish Match, Japanese family-owned business Mizuno, and US/Belgium B2B firm Nomacorc. Excelling in hands-on day to day management, strategic growth and execution, client relations, and particularly in leading, integrating and developing teams.

Hartmut has worked in international diverse workplace environments, tactfully understanding cultural nuances. In doing so, he gained experience leading in economies with devaluation, hyperinflation, price controls, social turmoil, and political transformations. Successfully established and managed a Start-up JV Partnership and actively participated in various M&A, a recent $3B Divestiture transaction and several post-acquisition integrations. He gained direct exposure and experience in crisis management, emerging from self-imposed Chapter11 proceedings. Has managed large customers like Walmart, Amazon, Costco, Carrefour, Casino, and many others.

Hartmut is fluent in English, Spanish, and German, with a solid working knowledge of Portuguese and French. As a business professional and team leader, Hartmut’s primary objective is to consult and facilitate operational teams, specifically focusing on people to accomplish growth P&L KPI’s.

Hartmut serves as an ambassador of strategic leadership and is inspired by the drive to nurture the business leaders of today and tomorrow; presently also acting as a mentor to Graduate and Ph.D. students at MIT and FIU (the latter specifically on Start-ups). He is also a member of The Venture Mentoring Team, a non-profit organization to mentor Start-ups in the South Florida community.

Hartmut holds a BBA in Management from Austin Peay State University, through a tennis scholarship, and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management. After living/working in 8 countries over 18 years, he now lives in South Florida, happily married with four wonderful kids. He remains an avid tennis player, swimmer, and runner.
