Himanshu Choksi

Himanshu Choksi brings 30+ years of broad experience as an entrepreneur, venture capitalist, management consultant, and Fortune 500 executive. His expertise spans strategy development and execution, general management, product development, and investing in sectors including internet, software, AI, digital health, sustainability, IoT, financial services, communications, and semiconductors. 

Himanshu co-founded and led three startups and a venture fund, held executive roles at AT&T and Intel, and was a consulting team leader at Bain & Company. Companies he has funded or founded have created $2B+ value.

At Bain and as an independent consultant, Himanshu helped Global 2000 organizations and startups boost growth, profitability, and market share. In a two-person team, he developed the early thought leadership to help launch Bain’s Technology Practice— now its largest global practice.

As a corporate executive, Himanshu developed technologies resulting in $4B+ revenue, integrated acquisitions, launched innovative TV services, and helped negotiate a $300M joint venture between three $14B corporations. As an entrepreneur/CEO of internet, digital health and cleantech startups, he launched the first services-comparison engine, helped customers increase profit 50%+, struck partnership deals, built senior teams, achieved profitability, and negotiated multiple funding rounds.

As co-founder of a VC firm, Himanshu invested in and served on company boards, providing guidance on business focus, strategy, competitive dynamics, business models, pricing, customer acquisition and retention, hiring, partnerships, and exit. Portfolio companies were acquired by Google, Samsung, ServiceNow, and others. He also served on the Advisory Board of Cleantech Open, the world’s largest sustainability accelerator.

Himanshu earned an MBA from Stanford University, where he was an Arjay Miller Scholar, an MS in Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, where he was a Regents Fellow, and a Bachelor of Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology, where he ranked first in his major. He holds four patents.
