Mohamed El Geneidy

Mohamed El Geneidy has over a decade and a half of experience as a quantitative investment professional and software engineer, operating at the intersection of private equity, investment analysis, financial technology, and large-scale real estate development. As a Quantitative Analyst at Bauen Capital, Mohamed drove strategic allocation, risk modeling, and data-driven investment theses for private equity real estate portfolios. Previously, at major international development firms Abu Dhabi Capital Group and Emaar Properties, he led the financial modeling and feasibility studies for landmark mixed-use and luxury resort communities, collectively representing billions in investment value.

As a founder and software engineer, Mohamed has a proven track record of developing financial technology solutions. He co-founded and engineered Quanticks, delivering a low-latency market data server for NASDAQ-OMX. Later, he founded Portal Decentralized Exchange, where he developed a DEX implementing smart contracts for on-chain limit order books. His software engineering background also includes building microservice-based infrastructure for algorithmic digital asset trading at Galois Capital.

Mohamed’s analytical contributions have directly impacted investment strategy, including optimizing risk-adjusted returns across significant AUM, developing sophisticated asset-level financial models for diverse property types (workplace, industrial, life science, multi-family), and creating interactive data visualizations for macroeconomic and asset-level analysis. His achievements span the design and implementation of critical market data infrastructure, decentralized trading systems, and streamlined investor reporting processes.

Mohamed is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder and earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Georgia Institute of Technology, where his early research involved multivariate natural disaster modelling.
