Stewart McCallum, M.D.

Dr. Stewart McCallum, a board-certified Urologist and Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, brings over 25 years of pharmaceutical development expertise to Advantary Capital Partners and Advantary Services Group. He has successfully led all phases of drug development, notably he has driven the approval and launch of innovative therapies. His career highlights include eight years at GlaxoSmithKline in clinical development, oncology, and pharmacology, complemented by his role as Assistant Professor of Urology at Stanford University. Holding an MD from the University of Toronto and a fellowship from Weill Cornell Medicine in NYC, Dr. McCallum is adept at navigating complex regulatory environments and delivering studies on time. His therapeutic expertise spans pain management, oncology (e.g., Prostate, NSCLC), rare diseases, and beyond, backed by an extensive publication record. At Advantary, he will bolster biotech deal development and lend his deep knowledge to the Advantary Services Group.
