Advantary is excited to announce that Melissa Kim has joined Advantary as Partner, Healthcare. 

Melissa brings an unparalleled passion for emerging technology in healthcare and building and advising startups. She holds a Ph.D. in Microbiology from Columbia University and spent several years as an investment banking analyst at UBS and JP Morgan. She was also Manager of Global Product Strategy at Genentech and Senior Product Manager, Marketing at Gilead Sciences. Altogether, Melissa has over 20 years of experience in healthcare.

Melissa has founded and led two successful companies, showcasing her leadership in biotech startups and advisory/technology platforms. Her expertise in the disease sector, ranges from marketing and strategy, to operations and commercial planning.

Melissa's impressive track record makes her a great addition to the Advantary team and compliments our growing interests in emerging technology in healthcare, biotech, pharma, and the digital health sector.
