Leadership Alignment Day

A working day with your senior team to clear what is decided, what is open, and who carries what.

What It Is

A Leadership Alignment Day is one day, in one room, with the people responsible for moving the company forward.

We move through the decisions currently in play across the business. We surface the disagreements that have been held in side conversations rather than the room. We separate the questions that have actually been decided from the ones the team has been operating as if decided. And we end the day with a shared written record of what was decided, what remains open, and who carries each piece.

The output is not a strategy. The strategy is yours. The output is a clean, current operating picture — held in common by the people who need to act on it.

What the Day Is Not

It is not a retreat. There is no off-site programming, no team-building exercise, no values workshop disconnected from the operating reality.

It is not a strategic planning session. We do not generate new strategy. We make the strategy you already have legible to the team carrying it.

It is not a one-time fix. Alignment is a discipline, not a deliverable. The day produces a clean operating picture; keeping it clean is your team's ongoing work.

How the Day Is Structured

The day runs roughly seven to eight hours, in three movements:

  • Morning — Surfacing. We work through the decisions currently in motion and surface where the team's understanding has diverged. This is the part of the day where unspoken disagreements get named. It is also the part that produces the most discomfort, by design.

  • Midday — Sorting. We separate what has actually been decided from what has been assumed. We name the orphan decisions — the ones nobody is carrying — and the contested ones — the ones multiple people are carrying differently.

  • Afternoon — Clearing. We produce the written record. The team works through what gets decided in the room, what gets routed to a smaller group after, and what cadence will keep the picture current.

You leave with the written record in hand. We follow up within a week with a clean version and a recommended cadence for keeping it alive.

Who It Is For

  • Executive teams where decisions are getting re-litigated in side conversations.
Leadership groups heading into a moment — a board meeting, a raise, a reorganization, a major hire — that requires everyone carrying the same truth.

  • Founder-led companies where the team has grown past the point where informal alignment can hold.

  • Teams that have come through a Founder / CEO Diagnostic and the next step is opening the work to the wider leadership group.

What You Leave With

  • A written record of every decision in play, sorted into decided / open / contested.

  • Named ownership for each piece — who decides, who executes, who is consulted, who is informed.

  • A short list of working agreements the team adopts to keep the picture current.

  • A recommended cadence — meeting rhythm and review intervals — sized to the team's actual pace.
