Bobby Bray

Bobby Bray is Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Anchora Advisory, a strategic advisory firm focused on corporate growth strategy, capital formation, and international market expansion. He advises founders, executives, and investors on capital raises, strategic partnerships, and complex cross-border initiatives, helping companies position their businesses for investment and long-term value creation.

Prior to founding Anchora Advisory, Bobby held senior leadership roles in banking and management consulting. At Capital One, he led initiatives across capital markets strategy, liquidity management, and advanced analytics, supporting enterprise funding strategy and managing programs tied to multi-billion-dollar portfolios. Earlier in his career, he was a consultant at Oliver Wyman, where he advised global financial institutions on corporate strategy, risk management, and large-scale transformation initiatives.

In addition to his advisory and financial services career, Bobby served more than three decades in the United States Navy as a helicopter pilot and senior operational leader. He accumulated more than 3,000 flight hours across multiple aircraft platforms, deployed globally aboard eight aircraft carriers, and commanded four units. His leadership roles focused on complex operational execution, risk management, and decision-making in demanding environments.

Bobby’s work focuses on helping companies translate strategy into executable growth. His advisory engagements typically involve preparing companies for investment, structuring strategic partnerships, supporting international market entry, and advising management teams through critical growth and financing decisions.

Bobby is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy, and holds graduate degrees from the University of Florida, The Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies, and University of Oxford, Saïd Business School.  In addition he is a CFA charter holder.
