Gadareth Higgs

Gadareth Higgs, PhD, is a healthcare and life sciences advisor, investor, and former McKinsey consultant with deep experience in due diligence, strategy, and data-driven healthcare innovation. At Advantary Capital Partners, he helps evaluate and shape investments across biotechnology, health tech, and data-enabled healthcare, bringing analytical rigor and operational insight to the firm’s investment process.

Gadareth has led diligence efforts spanning specialty pharmacy, oncology real-world data, and concierge healthcare services. At McKinsey, he co-led diligence on specialty pharmacy assets for a healthcare payer valued at more than 100 billion dollars and supported a private equity firm with more than ten billion dollars in assets under management in evaluating oncology data companies. His work informed investment theses, financial models, and growth assessments used directly in deal decision-making.

As Principal of Higgs Insights, he supported founders by developing investor materials, financial models, and operational strategies. His work helped startups raise up to seven million dollars, increase investor interest, and secure a one million dollar LP commitment. He previously launched and led the precision oncology services unit at ConcertAI, partnering with biopharma and health system leaders to deliver advanced real-world data solutions.

Gadareth holds a PhD in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology and an MS in Bioinformatics from Yale University. Outside of family and work, he enjoys mentoring emerging professionals and daily exercise, including plyometrics, running, tumbling, and competing in marathons and sprint triathlons.
