Jay Conn is an executive leader whose multifaceted expertise spans both investment management and operational excellence in growth companies. With a robust track record developing and executing comprehensive investment strategies, Jay has successfully identified, evaluated, and executed investments across diverse businesses—providing strategic guidance and hands-on support to management teams throughout the process. He has established and maintained a strong network of industry contacts, conducted in-depth due diligence, negotiated and closed investment deals, and prepared detailed investment memorandums and presentations for a range of stakeholders.


Jay has a robust background in strategic leadership and operational efficiency, particularly within early-stage and growth-stage ventures in the technology sectors. He has guided businesses through innovation and profitable expansion, leveraging both venture capital and private equity investments, as well as mergers and acquisitions. Jay’s approach is rooted in a deep understanding of startup and growth-stage ecosystems, and he is dedicated to crafting and executing growth strategies that enhance customer satisfaction and retention. In addition to his investment activities, Jay also consults for startups and SMBs, providing expertise in fundraising, strategic positioning, go-to-market strategy, and value enhancement through operational improvements, marketing, sales, and the facilitation of strategic partnerships and M&A transactions.


Jay holds a BA in History from The University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and an MBA from California State University, Long Beach. He is an avid golfer, cyclist, downhill skier, and mostly retired ice hockey player who enjoys solving crossword puzzles and spending time with his family.
