He previously co-founded and led Viridios AI, a fintech firm that has broken ground in climate market analytics through AI before its acquisition by Bloomberg. Marcelo is also an AI Researcher at the Advanced Institute for Artificial Intelligence (AI2), and a consultant assisting enterprises in their AI transformation as well as building AI-driven knowledge systems.
With over 20 years of international experience spanning AI, tech, and financial markets, he has pioneered innovative applications of AI in finance and climate markets. As a London Business School finance graduate and Imperial College London PhD in Mathematical Finance, Marcelo combines engineering rigor with financial acumen.
