Michael Yowakim

Michael Yowakim is an investment professional with deep experience in research and due diligence across private equity, venture capital, private credit, and hedge fund strategies. At J.P. Morgan and First Republic Investment Management, he worked with high-net-worth and institutional clients to evaluate and monitor alternative investment managers, conducting deep analysis across portfolios, sectors, and stages. He sourced, underwrote, and presented dozens of investment funds to ultra-high-net-worth and institutional investors.

Michael also served as a Private Markets Analyst at Albourne Partners, a leading alternatives consulting firm, where he focused on private markets research and due diligence. In this role, he developed expertise in evaluating investment strategies, financial modeling, and portfolio construction, supporting institutional investors in allocating to global alternative funds.

At Advantary Capital Partners, Michael applies this experience to early and growth-stage companies, conducting due diligence, market research, and financial analysis to support investment decisions.

Michael earned his BS in Finance from California State University, Chico.
