Remington Dare

Remington Dare is a Partner at Advantary, where he focuses on investment execution and deal structuring for the firm’s venture capital and private equity opportunities. Remington combines deep credit and equity experience with entrepreneurial "scar tissue" to evaluate high-growth companies. He is responsible for the rigorous due diligence and financial modeling required to identify market outliers and for structuring the investment terms that allow those companies to scale sustainably. 

Prior to Advantary, Remington was the Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of U.S. Pension Alliance, a startup infrastructure investment platform developed to a launch-ready state and sponsored for a time by CBRE Investment Management. In this role, he led strategic and operational initiatives—converting intangible ideas into tangible outputs. Having navigated the full entrepreneurial lifecycle—from constructing complex financial models and securing sponsorship to managing investor relations and making difficult operational pivots—Remington possesses a profound empathy for founders. He understands firsthand that the path to success is rarely a straight line.

Remington’s operational grit is underpinned by a strong foundation in institutional finance. He previously served as a Vice President on the Infrastructure Solutions team at BlackRock, which invested in infrastructure across the Americas. Earlier in his career, he was an Associate on Macquarie’s Principal Finance team, focused on real estate debt and equity investment. Remington began his career as an Analyst in Goldman Sachs’ Investment Banking Division, covering Leveraged Finance for the Technology, Media, & Telecom, and Natural Resources sectors.

Remington believes that sustainable success is the product of reason translated into action. His investment philosophy is defined by an iconoclastic curiosity and a drive to pierce to the truth of matters, looking past convention to identify genuine value. He seeks to partner with founders who possess high agency, an internal locus of control, and the discipline to turn ambition into reality. Remington views capital as a tool for benevolence, translating investment into outcomes that enable wellness, happiness, and growth for all stakeholders. 

Remington earned a BS with a double major in Entrepreneurship and Business Administration from the University of Utah and holds the FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 certifications. Outside of work, he cultivates what Oscar Wilde termed the 'Oxford Temper': the ability to play gracefully with ideas. He fuels this perspective through a disciplined reading habit, consuming at least a book a week across history, strategy, and psychology. This intellectual flexibility is grounded by physical rigor: he uses a dedicated yoga practice for focused introspection and maintains a vegan lifestyle as a commitment to benevolent living. For pure enjoyment, Remington is a lifelong alpine skier, classical violinist, and 4X strategy gamer.
