Daniel LoPiccolo

Daniel LoPiccolo focuses on private investments for Advantary’s portfolio. He collaborates with institutional partners, family offices, and individuals to syndicate opportunities.

With 25 years of experience scaling businesses through strategic buy-side roles, he has successfully closed billions of dollars of private transactions. Via financing and treasury innovations, Daniel has helped businesses save over $250 million, executed multiple fund launches, integrations, and M&A deals. His relationship-building skills have driven partnerships in both public and private markets.

Previously, Daniel was a leader at two well-established hedge funds working on both credit and equity markets. Separately, as a startup senior management leader at an asset manager, Daniel was an integral part of the business team that increased AUM by over 100% in three years, leading to its acquisition via a private sale. He has consistently focused on alliances across the globe, directly leading to exponential firm growth.

Daniel was recruited out of college by Merrill Lynch, placed into their analyst training program in New York City. He has spent time with J.P. Morgan as well, all working with buy-side firms and trading programs across all product classes. Daniel has traveled internationally for business in Europe and Asia. Adding to his institutional history, Daniel has hands-on experience with private real estate transactions and construction. He received his BA in Economics and Statistics from Rutgers University. Daniel is an impactful member of his community who enjoys fitness, cooking, snowboarding, construction, traveling, and being with his family.
