Josh Steinberg

Joshua Steinberg is investor-operator and inventor-entrepreneur with three decades of experience in building and scaling ventures across a diverse array of specialties including health services, financial services, FinTech, Med and Neurotech, decentralized and traditional finance, blockchain technology and applied blockchain applications, Web 3.0, applied quantum computing, and disruptive systems. He is an innate Founder and co-Founder, but has also functioned as CEO, CFO, CIO, CXO, CMO, as well as advisor and team lead, across companies such as Silicon Valley Speech, Velocity, NexPlayCapital, InvestHub, Morgan Stanley, Wells Fargo, Steinberg Fitness & Movement, and 818jz. Taking a brief hiatus from the founding world Josh worked with Wells Fargo as a Private Banker, and with Morgan Stanley’s executive equity compensation division, creating and leading specialized teams for corporations such as Google, Nvidia, Palo Alto Networks, CrowdStrike, and Facebook. Josh, functioned in various roles at Morgan Stanley’s Greystone Consulting group in the Palo Alto-Menlo Park-Sand Hill Road corridor, and has a broad network of investor operators, UHNW executives, FOs, MFOs, and startups.

Being a disruptive market innovator-accelerator, Josh has consistently focused on identifying, de-risking, and scaling, disruptive technologies that fundamentally change the macroeconomic landscape. Josh’s experience in hyper-growth is extensive, and his high cadence, high amplitude tempo, has led to five successful exits over the course of six successful ventures. Josh is adept at corporate finance, corporate strategy, capital raising, strategic and tactical planning, and operations. His background in academics is equally diverse and rigorous, with M.S. degrees in Quantum Physics and Medicinal Organic Chemistry, and B.S. degrees in Applied Mathematics, Chemistry, and Biotechnology. Josh left his Ph.D. program when he was a young associate professor in Manhattan, to simultaneously launch, and scale businesses, in the health services and financial services fields.

In addition to Josh’s Partner role at Advantary, he is Founder and acting CEO of Legacy Digital, and a Family Office Executive Partner for InvestHub’s Innovation program, as well as an advisor to several altruistic organizations.

Josh has successfully scaled companies from an R&D inventor to thousands of employees in relatively short periods of time. He has done this through his hyper growth mindset, plethora of strategic alliances formed over this fast paced 30+ year career, and interdisciplinary collaborative nature. As a true Silicon Valley entrepreneur Josh is well networked in both the startup, corporate, institutional, and UHNW spaces. New technologies and the interaction of complex systems is where Josh’s true talent unveils itself, he has been disrupting the corporate landscape from a very young age, and turning disruptive strategic operations into capital at a remarkable rate.
